The 1999 UMSC Boys Red and White Teams will be holding tryouts throughout the 2008-2009 Indoor Season. Please contact us if your son is interested in joining us and like to tryout.

Our practices are held on Monday and Thursday nights (6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School, 50 Featherstone Ave., (located South of Denison Rd., between McCowan and Middlefield Rd.), Markham. We are also participating in the Scarborough Indoor Soccer League on Saturdays (3:00 p.m or 5:00 p.m. games - see Indoor Winter Schedule Calendar below)

UMSC BU9 Strikers Year End Picnic

This year the UMSC Boys U9 Strikers ended the season with a terrific BBQ picnic at Milne Park on Sunday, September 14th. The weather was great. We had scrumptious food, fun games and a good end-of-the season review.

Thank you to all the parents/players for making the picnic a great time enjoyed by all.

Soccer Training

Our outdoor soccer training resumes on Saturday 27th September at Ashton Meadows from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. These weekly sessions will continue as long as the weather permit and until it gets too cold. These sessions will also be tryouts for any new players for our indoor season. Please contact us if your son (born in 1999) is interested in joining us and like to tryout.

Welcome to the UMSC Boys U9 Strikers home page representing the Unionville-Milliken Soccer Club. We look forward to the start of the new 2008 soccer season. This year we have two boys' U9 teams, the UMSC Boys U9 Strikers Red and the UMSC Boys U9 Strikers White. We play in the York Region Soccer League (YRSL) U9 Boys Blue and U9 Boys Red Divisions respectively.

Our coaches are Andrew Wong, Michael Chin and Neil Alexander. The team managers are Joan Lyn and Peter Wong. You will find updated information on practices, games and tournaments. This site also contains answers to the most frequently asked questions we hear from new soccer parents. Issues such as uniforms, weather cancellations, nutrition and other pertinent information are all addressed here.
